Renata Miketic Obituary

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Renata Miketic, a beloved wife, daughter, sister, friend, and healer. Renata passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will forever be remembered by all who were fortunate to know her. Born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, Renata carried her roots and close family ties with her throughout her life. In recent years, she made Scottsdale, Arizona, her home, where she built a beautiful life filled with friendship and happiness. Renata was the devoted wife of Garrin Busch, with whom she shared a life of deep love and countless adventures. She was the cherished daughter of Teresa and Alojz, and the beloved sister of Amy and Annette. She was the loving sister of her late brother, David, who passed away last year. Their bond was profound, and there is comfort in knowing they are now reunited. Renata was also the step-mother to Garrin's children, Bailey and Brody. A gifted and compassionate pediatric anesthesiologist, Renata dedicated her career to the care of children and their families. Her expertise and warm, calming presence brought comfort to countless patients. She was also a natural teacher, mentoring colleagues and students with patience, kindness, and generosity. Renata lived life with vibrancy and passion. She loved golf, hiking, snowboarding, tennis, and pickleball, finding joy in staying active and connecting with others through sport and the outdoors. An avid reader, she found inspiration and peace in books. She and Garrin shared a deep love of travel, exploring the world together and making unforgettable memories with friends along the way. Those who knew Renata will never forget her infectious smile and laugh, her nurturing spirit, and her remarkable ability to put others' happiness above her own. She brought light into every room she entered, and her presence made those around her feel loved and valued. Renata's life was a beautiful example of selflessness, adventure, and love. Though her time with us was far too short, her impact will endure through the countless lives she touched and the memories she leaves behind.
