Tao Dang

Our hearts are heavy as we share the news of Tao Dang's passing on June 11, 2025. Tao was born on 2/20/1966 in Saigon, Vietnam. He is the second eldest of the four children and graduated early from Camelback High School in 1983. After graduating from High School, he attended ASU and graduated with a degree in Finance. His professional career started with First Interstate Bank (FIB) as a teller, and he was quickly promoted to the corporate office to the Payroll and Benefit department. Tao saw a need to streamline the process and took it on himself to develop a system for the department. His efforts were widely recognized by leadership. When FIB moved their corporate functions to San Francisco, Tao made the decision to part ways so he can stay close to home in Phoenix, AZ. After a couple months, Tao received a call from one of his previous leaderships to encourage him to take on the job as a consultant and gave him a lead to a company in need of his expertise. That was the beginning of Tao's successful career as a consultant. On his career journey, Tao formed lasting relationships with all those who worked alongside him. He cared for each person deeply and held them to highest regards for their contributions and friendship. This is Tao's nature with everyone from family to friends, and to peers. Tao enjoyed traveling, taking pictures of landscapes of these places, and trying local cuisines. He had an adventurous spirit and always wanted to bring all of us along with him. As your sisters, we could not ask for a fiercer protector and defender and a leader of many crazy antics. He loved spending time with family and always encouraged us to experience new things. Tao will be deeply missed by his mom and siblings: Tanya, Tiffany, and Hope. As well as his extended family: the Lin's, the McCauley's, Boke McCauley, Keith Hamblin, and Jeff Sandvig. A memorial service will be held at Messinger Mortuaries and Chapels 7601 E. Indian School Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 8525. On Thursday 6/26/2025 at 8:30am to 11am.
