Thomas Botts Obituary

Thomas Franklin Botts born in Princeton Missouri on July 23, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents William Franklin Botts and Charlene Laws Botts, Grandma Allie Botts and Uncle Paul Botts. He is survived by his wife Mary Botts, Aunt Frankie Botts and cousin Wilma Moore. Sister in law Alice Easter brother in law Paul Valadez. Children Kimberly, Terry (spouse Guru), Bertha and Phillip. Grandchildren Samantha (spouse Alec), Gabe, Savannah and Sanjay. Great-grandchildren Preston and Paisley. Nieces Rhonda (spouse Tom) and Rachelle (spouse Michelle). Great Nieces Haley (spouse Stephen), Hannah, Madison and Great Nephew Jaxson along with other extended family.
Tom and Mary wed on March 5, 1966 at Alta Vista church in KC MO and have been married for over 58 years. They lived in the midwest from 1966 thru 1982. They then moved to Phoenix Arizona and have been members of Cross In the Desert UMC since then. During that time he has been an active member of the church serving in many different capacities along with attending The Walk to Emmaus. Tom was also an avid sports fan of MO Tigers, KC Chiefs/Royals, AZ Cardinals, ASU Sun Devils and golf. Tom enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and attended many mission trips with his grandchildren. His contributions both personal and professional have made a tremendous impact on all that he touched and he will continue to be loved and will be missed by ALL.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cross In The Desert UMC or Hospice of the Valley in his honor.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 31, 2025 at Cross in the Desert United Methodist Church. 12835 N 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85032
