Thomas Mumaw Obituary

Remembering Thomas L. Mumaw Thomas Lynn Mumaw passed away on June 26, 2025, the day after his 74th birthday, in his beloved residential home in Phoenix, Arizona. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time of his passing. Born June 25, 1951, Thomas grew up in Dalton, Ohio and was the son of James. B. Mumaw and Mary L. Partridge. From an early age, Thomas' intelligence and sense of humor were apparent. He was a dedicated and accomplished attorney. He received his law degree at The Ohio State University where he became a devout Buckeye fan for life. Thomas was an avid storyteller. He loved to share stories about his daughters, grandchildren, and of all his past adventures. He also loved classic musicals, songs, television shows, and delicious steak dinners. Thomas is survived by his two daughters, Justine Mumaw and Marilyn Mumaw, his four grandchildren, and his sister, Jamee DeGeorge. He will join his adored late wife, Bonnie Faust Mumaw, and be placed together in the Hansen Memorial Garden. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Thomas Mumaw will be held at the Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery on September 27, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Thomas' honor. Thomas was a loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will remain in our hearts, always. Live Stream Link: https://vimeo.com/event/5236643 Recorded Video Link: https://vimeo.com/1098587040
