Alice Elaine

Geesey passed away from this life on October 22, 2022 in her residence at

Amaran Senior Living, Albuquerque, NM. The daughter of Leon Harold and

Caroline (Maass) Frischknecht, she was born in Montclaire, NJ on June

6, 1936.

She graduated from Cedar Crest College, Allentown, PA, in 1958 with a BS in Business Administration, and married Roger Alan Geesey in September of that year. As an Air Force wife, she raised her three children in several homes across the US, settling in Vienna, VA in 1973. She worked periodically as an office manager, and volunteered in community programs in Washington, DC. After retirement, Alice and Roger relocated in 2006 to Albuquerque, NM where they became active in the community of La Mesa Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her three children and their spouses/partner, Mark and Maria Geesey of Mount Pleasant, SC, Brenda Geesey and Sonny Thornborrow of Butte, MT, and David and Beth Geesey of San Diego, CA; brother and his wife, Raymond and Irene Frischknecht, of Jasper, GA; grandchildren, Solveig Coleman, Maren Geesey, Gabriel Geesey, and Cosette Geesey; nephew Eric Raymond; and three great granddaughters, Magnolia and Caroline Coleman, and Aurora Geesey.
