Alice Gonzales Obituary

Alice Caroline Gonzales

Alice Caroline Gonzales, 98, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother peacefully passed away on December 5, 2024, following a long illness. Alice was born in Madrid, NM to Damian and Fidela Sandoval, one of eleven children, eight of which preceded her in death and is survived by sister, Ramona Baca and brother, Damian Sandoval. Alice was married to Filemon Gonzales who preceded her in death after 67 years of marriage. She is survived by daughters, Lorraine Romero and husband, Robert, Evelyn Piller, and Carol Garcia who Alice cherished and loved as a daughter; sons, Robert Gonzales and wife, Cristina and Charles, who preceded her in death. Alice was grandmother to three grandchildren and great-grandmother to thirteen great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service including the blessing of her remains and a rosary will be recited Wednesday, December 18, 2024, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH - University. Alice will join Filemon at the Santa Fe National Cemetery where both will rest in the eternity of God's glory following a private family ceremony.
