Alice Solano Obituary
Alice Florence Barnum Solano, age 80, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. She was born December 8, 1936 in Raton to Albert and Florence Barnum. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Fermin Solano. Alice is survived by her four children, Frieda Solano, Ralph Solano (Lorena), Rebecca Chavez (Lawrence) and Michael J. Solano; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five siblings; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Alice loved life and was a devoted wife and a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed working retail, sewing, eating out, and shopping. She was a Reiki Master Practitioner and loved helping people.
Visitation will begin Friday, November 10, 2017, 5:00 p.m., with a Service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH â€" University. Interment will be on Saturday, November 11, 2017, 12:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Belen Cemetery. Please visit our online guestbook for Alice at
