Anita Rozzi



Anita Rozzi, 93, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023. Born on March 12, 1930, Anita was the daughter of Arling T. Austin and Virlena Austin. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Rozzi, and her son-in-law, Harold "Woody" Woods.



Anita had a successful career at Bell Communications System, where she became one of the first women in the system to become an Office Manager. She dedicated 25 years of service to the company before retiring. Anita's dedication and hard work paved the way for future generations.



Outside of her career, Anita had a passion for writing, becoming the published author of, Who'll Bring Me Flowers?, her account of growing up in rural New Mexico during the Great Depression and Dust Bowl era, and sewing. She found joy and fulfillment in expressing herself through these hobbies. Anita's creativity and attention to detail were evident in every piece she crafted.



Anita is survived by her daughter, Linda Woods, and her sons, Michael Jaffa and his wife, Kristine, and James Rozzi. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew Woods and his wife, Heide, Summer Woods-Tunney and her husband, Patrick, Kelly Andrews and her husband, Dan, Kyle Jaffa and his wife, Elizabeth, Megan Rozzi and her partner, Amanda McGahan, and James R. Rozzi and his partner, Lindsey Short. Anita's great-grandchildren include Hunter Woods, Chase Woods, Aspen Tunney, Samuel Andrews, Kody Andrews, Rowan Jaffa, and Rylan Rozzi.



Anita will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of determination, kindness, and creativity will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. May she rest in peace. Please visit our online guestbook for Anita at
