He was a humorous person and awesome coach we all loved at Monty Tech in Fitchburg, MA from 1974-1978. We did nickname him "Killer" because he made us train super hard in Cross County but it paid off with many championships for a relatively unknow technical school. :) BTW, we did make it to his professional fight. Austin was a rare gem among those he surrounded himself with. His personality and sense of humor were unmatched. All those who knew him will cherish his genuine friendship forever. We love and miss you Papi Chulo.
