Hi there, we were saddened by the news, and we were even saddened how we couldn't make her funeral celebration of life last year. We saw Galen recently; we have her husbands FLAG. Galen had us hold it for awhile. We told him. I'm sure you want it back with the family. Barbara & Steve Otero

Dearest family, Steve & I are so sorry we were unable to attend Barbara's service. She was a beautiful soul, that we are glad that we were able to know. Her kindness was amazing, and we will miss her beautiful smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you! God Bless you all.
Love Steve & Barbara Otero.

Barbara was a dear friend to my mother, Emmalou, and in turn to all of us children. She was kind and positive, and always there for our family after our mother passed away. She brought communion to my mother's house every day when she became ill. She sent me clippings about our family and kept in touch with us for the past 20 years since that loss. God Bless her children, what a light she was to us all. Our deepest condolences--Tisha, Matthew, Ray, Francina, and Bernadette Rodriguez

I was a babysitter for the whole tribe when I was in high school. Barbara would play tennis and I would later bring the kids for lunch and swimming. She was the kindest and most patient woman. I aslo sat on evenings when they had special events. I will always remember her sweetness and patience.
