Billy Godinez, age 54, a resident of Clines Corners, passed away on Monday, May 7, 2018. Billy enjoyed the cowboy way of life. He always had a loving and positive energy and enjoyed joking and laughing. Billy loved to dance, create art and listen to music, especially Spanish, old Western and Rock & Roll. He had a passion for life, good food and good cup of coffee. He was a hard worker who enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his father, Nash Godinez; mother-in-law, Ruth Baca; niece, Josslyn Baca and a nephew,

Jerome Baca.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Godinez; children, Jacob Godinez, Desiree Godinez, Harley Godinez and

Cody Godinez; mother, Fedelia Godinez;

brothers, Mike Godinez and Ignacio Godinez and sisters,

Nadine Mahres and Shirley Muncy.

Services were held at Magdalena High School, Friday, May 11, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Pall bearers were Jacob Godinez, Cody Godinez, Ignacio Godinez, Mike Godinez, Cary Muncy, Mario Maes, Beau Marshall and Paul Summers. Honorary pallbearers were Quaid Muncy, Toby Dolan, Bazil Davis, Cole Kirksey, Jeff Bilberry, Pete Marez and Chris
