Brent Rivard Obituary
Brent Rivard, age 41, passed away on November 25, 2022. He was born on June 25, 1981 in Albuquerque. He was employed by Eclipse Aviation as a technician in final assembly until the company closed. Subsequently he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from UNM in 2017. He was employed at UNMH on the 4 West unit. He loved being a nurse and was especially proficient at technical skills. Brent enjoyed the outdoors and loved camping and target shooting. He was an enthusiastic hobbyist who started and finished a succession of hobbies such as model trains, art, R/C cars, and drones. While being treated for cancer, he rekindled a closer relationship with his sister, friend Nathan Lueckenhoff, and nephews who called him "Uncle Bubby." He is preceded in death by his father, Buzz Rivard. He is survived by his mother, Karen Rivard, his sister, Lisa Disch, and his nephews Michael Maestas, Kyler Whittenberger and Damien Hand.
