You will not know me, but your Grandparents Bennie & Leia and my parents Oscar Otero and Helen were great friends. Your grandparents were always so loving and kind to me. I was 2 months older than Carmen and I have many memories of visiting off of Barcelona and later attending "political" events. It has been decades, since I've seen Carmen, and I think the last time she was trying to recruit me to join a vet organization, because of our dads. In our early years as young women are lives crossed in Albuquerque. I love that you used word "spirited" to describe Carmen...that was her. To the "little" sisters and family, hugs and kisses. Carmen, Little B., and your parents have always remained with the fondest of memories in my heart. betty

My deepest sympathy & prayers for Carmen´s family. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She had a smile that would light up a room! A warm welcome and her hospitality awaited all. One of the most wonderful cooks I knew! We shared many recipes while preparing meals, listening to music and dancing! She brought much joy into my life, a treasure I keep in my heart! I can only imagine the Christmas she is having, dancing on God´s GREAT dance floor. With much love and respect. BERT
