Cody Cianchetti Obituary
Cody James Cianchetti slipped away from this world to be with his Lord Jesus on August 11, 2021 at the age of 27. Cody was born in Albuquerque, NM on May 04, 1994 to Marcus Cianchetti and Gina Garcia. Both of his parents survive him.
Cody had many special talents which including playing guitar, collecting rocks for his extensive collection and skateboarding. Cody was an accomplished skateboarder and was fluent in kickflips, ollie's and the always hyper-impressive grind slide. His ability to skate at this level demonstrated his discipline to the craft and he honed his technique with years of practice and anatomical resilience. This dedication is what allowed him to transition from an amateur skateboarder to semi-pro.
The most outstanding part of Cody was his ability to light up a room and make people smile. He made friends from strangers and was comfortable in most social situations. He used his charisma and charm to lift up all and received deep satisfaction in teaching others about Jesus. Cody is truly a light and witness to this world and his legacy will be felt by generations as a brother, a son, an uncle, and friend to those that he touched.
Cody is survived by his parents Marcus Cianchetti and Gina Garcia; sister Allison Cianchetti; brother David Cianchetti; grandparents Robert Garcia and Rita; grandfather Gary Cianchetti; grandmother Rebecca Fuller; aunties Gina Cianchetti and Linda Garcia; uncles Larry Garcia, Dominic Cianchetti, Justin Cianchetti and Anthony Garcia; nephews Elias and Max O'Keeffe; cousins Kevin, Chris, and Brian Zirpel.
A viewing for friends and family to bid Cody farewell will be held on Thursday August 26, 2021 at 10:00 AM with funeral services to begin at 1:00 PM at Daniel's Funeral Home at 9420 4th St NW, ABQ, NM 87114. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park located at 4310 Sara Rd., Rio Rancho, NM 87124.
