Connie Nuanes Obituary

Connie Nuanes

In remembrance of Connie Nuanes we honor her 100th birthday. Connie, born August 18, 1925, was a woman of strength, grace and elegancy.

After graduating from Browning Business College, she worked for the Kansas City Life Insurance Company as a secretary and at Sandia Corporation in the stenography pool with top secret clearance during WWII. She would later work for APS for 25 years until she retired.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She gave every ounce of her love to her family. Connie passed away in the comfort of her home on August 19, 2024. Her firstborn son, Danito and her husband, Danny surely were the first to welcome her into heaven.

She leaves behind sons, Gino and Robert Nuanes; a daughter, Carol Sanchez; a granddaughter, Kimberly Sanchez; and great-granddaughter, Mikaela Salazar, who will miss her every day.

Her final words were a reflection of her continual love, "We had a good life". The world couldn't have asked for a more wonderful woman.

Connie was laid to rest on August 30, 2024 at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery.
