David Chavez Obituary
David Chavez, 75, a lifelong resident of Alameda, Albuquerque, NM. Passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 20, 2022. He was surrounded by his beloved wife, son and his three precious grandsons.
He is survived by his Wife, Carmen Chavez, Son, John Vincent Chavez, preceded in death by infant son, David Jr, and daughter Justine "Tina" Chavez. He is survived by the lights of his life, his three amazing Grandsons: Gannon, Logan, and Aden Chavez. Preceded in death by his parents, Lizardo and Sofia Chavez, his Father and Mother - in - Law: Carlos and Josefita Ortega, his sister, Frances Baldonado, Nieces: Jennifer Ortega and Debra Banda. He is survived by his brothers: Andy and Leroy Chavez, nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was lovingly married to Carmen for 54 years. Retired after 28 years as the Golf Superintendent for the City of Albuquerque's four golf courses. Marine Corp Veteran. #1 Fan alongside his wife, Carmen, always in the stands, supporting his grandsons.
He embodied what it was to be a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is immensely loved, and will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.
Services: Friday 1/28 10:00 a.m. Rosary, Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m. No Reception afterwards. Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 12500 Carmel Ave NE,

David was the greatest Boss I could have. I worked with him for many years in the office. David was a very caring person. His number one priority was his Family and his Faith. We're going to miss you Boss.
