It is with a heavy and saddened heart that I write this note of appreciation to all who sent words of support to our daughter Mariska Faye, and shared their wonderful memories of David. Thank You All! He is deeply missed by his critter.
David was so many different people all rolled up into one person depending on who needed him and for what. He was a dad, son, brother, friend, and colleague, who will be missed by all. At times he made each person in his life, feel as if for that moment, they were his whole world.
Mariska and I wish him faith, peace, love and grace as he leaves this world into the light to start a new life with God.

Goodbye Daddy. I love you and miss you! -Mariska

My sincere condolences to the family and David's little girl whom he talked about so much! It was clear that she was his everything. I worked with David at DCA. He was kind hearted, happy and always joking. He would leave us big chocolate bars from Trader Joe's on our desk just to brighten our day. I would have liked to have gone to his services if I would have known sooner. I'm truly saddened to hear of the loss of a good man. May he rest in peace.

I lost my best friend but I have 28 years of memories to share with his wonderful daughter Mariska. Not only will he be greatly missed by his family, but also by all those who knew him. I don't think he realized the impact he had on so many lives and what he meant to so many different people. Rest in peace David and miss you bunches

I will always remember David as I knew him in medical school. He was a truly genuine kind hearted person who always put other people's needs in front of his . He was very intelligent and had a great sense of humor. He would always brighten up my day just by being David . I pray for his family and hope his daughter will always know what a wonderful, kind man her father was.

David, thank you for sharing your humor, political savvy, and stories of your daughter with me. I will miss our talks. But I now know you'll be able to solve the mathematical problem you were always grappling with! Rest dear David and may God bless you and send light for those of us you left behind.

This is so shockingly sad. David was a long time friend (over 10 years) whom I met through another friend Maria. He was one of the few good friends I ever had in my entire life. He was smart, funny, yet humble and always tried to help me with my studies. He was always there to talk to, even if we hadn't talked for awhile. He always encouraged me to never give up on my dream to write. I will never forget him! Prayers and condolences to all of his family, so sorry for your loss. David was a really great guy!

It is truly sad to be writing this goodbye note to David, my friend. David and our close group of friends from medical school shared many memories during our 4 years at UNM together. He was incredibly bright, talented and always fun to be around. It's hard to believe he is gone.

I was fortunate to have met his beautiful little girl before his death. I could see a lot of David in her...I hope she never forgets what a good man her daddy was.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of David I remember the first time I met him was at a convention in Albuquerque. I remember him being humble kind-hearted person the last time I saw him was about 12 years ago when he came out to visit my son and I in Phoenix. I remember when he received his white coat He was so excited. Also when he became a father was another joy in his life. With love and respect may he rest in peace.
