Deborah Parrington Obituary
Deborah "Debbie" Partington, age 67, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 after a long, challenging battle with dementia.
Debbie was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM. She graduated from Del Norte High School in 1975 and attended UNM and received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing in 1980. Debbie was an amazing, caring nurse for 30 years at Lovelace Hospital on Gibson. She loved helping people and especially working with pediatric patients.
Debbie will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Almeta and Tom Partington and sister, Sandy Gwynn. She is survived by her sister, Donna Partington of Albuquerque.
Our sincere thanks go out to Presbyterian Hospice and BeeHive Four Hills Assisted Living for their excellent care.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - University. She will be interred at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
Debbie requested donations to her favorite charities in place of flowers: NM Animal Humane Society, 615 Virginia St. SE, Albuquerque, NM 87108 and Alzheimer's Association NM Chapter, 6731 Academy Rd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.

Donna, I am so sorry to read this news. Debbie came to mind just last week out of the blue - I was remembering how very sweet she was when my father passed away. Now I think it was her saying goodbye. I hope you are surrounded by love and comfort and only good memories of your sweet sister.
