Doug was a wonderful person, I was lucky to have lived next door to him at the Sigma Chi house. When my roommate and I were pledges and he was an Active he used to try to be tough on us but he could never keep up the stern look on his face and ended up laughing. He could ALWAYS be counted on to help anytime you needed advice or someone to laugh with. Thank you for the humor and fun Doug, you will be missed.
Just one of a number of memorable vacas we took together!!

It is a sad day today as I learned of the earlier passing of a great friend and Sigma Chi fraternity brother, Doug Easton. We roomed together as pledges in the Sig house and continued to be roommates for 4 years in the Sig house. We vacationed together! We battled the dog days of pledgeship against the active brothers together. We worked the same jobs together so we could allow each other to slip away and sleep off our hangovers. We were CO-Social chairman (aka PARTY PLANNERS!!) together and partied we did. Sadly, we graduated. While our lives took different paths and living in different states, I am happy that we still kept in touch over the years whether it was phone calls or the occasional one word texts we would send each other. It would be a month, or even 6 months that would go by, but, something would trigger the desire to reach out. Cant tell you how I will miss those one word texts Doug. Brother, I will miss you. I told you a million times how much your friendship meant to me during our times at Sigma Chi. I wish I had the opportunity to tell you one last time. Love ya bro!!!

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Doug Easton, one of my Sigma Chi Fraternity Brothers. Although I've not seen him in many years, I remember what a gentleman and true friend he was. ALL HONOR TO HIS NAME.
