Dovie L. Winter's Spirit journeyed back to God who gave it (Eccl 12:7 KJV) October 28, 2018. She was 43 years old. A visitation will be Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home, 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE. Funeral Service will immediately follow at
2:00 p.m. same location.

I went to school with Dovie she was kind,funny and always a happy person with a great smile. Sorry for your loss , remember the good times she shared and her kind heart .

To the family of Dovie,
Even though I did not work with Dovie for long, the time that I got to know her and worked with her I always thought she was a sweet lady, always very cheerful, her laugh was very contagious. We both would laugh at times when she would tell me that she had to pull a Madea when something wasn't getting done properly. I though that was very funny in a good way, and we would laugh for a long time. Good and humorous times will be remembered and missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. So sorry for your loss.

To the family of Dovie I had the amazing opportunity to work with Dovie at Presbyterian. I truly know that she was called home and now is in heaven making everyone laugh with her amazing infectious laugh! what a blessing it was to be her friend even if only for a short while. She loved all of you and especially loved her nephews!! My prayers and condolences go out to you and your family in this loss of an angel on earth.
