Edward Gallinger Obituary
Edward "Eddy" Gallinger, age 79, passed away from health complications on December 11, 2025, surrounded by family. Born on March 12, 1946, Eddy lived a life full of love and dedication to his family and friends.
He is survived by his three children: Aaron Gallinger of Phoenix, Reed and L.M. Gallinger of Albuquerque; and by his stepdaughters, Kellie Tomlin of Albuquerque and Yvonne Feltman of Austin both from a prior marriage of 18 years to Sharon. Eddy had five grandchildren: Kezra, Strydem, Atlyss, Titan, and Andretti, all of Phoenix.
Eddy was a Navy veteran who served during Vietnam and honorably discharged in 1967. His career was spent at Western Electric (US West/AT&T), but he also had a passion as a gold jeweler/designer, artist, and as home builder. He coached Special Olympics sports teams including poly hockey and soccer.
Preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Leroy, Eddy will be remembered for his kind spirit, gentle demeanor, and unwavering support for his family.
His formal remembrance service will be held on Monday January 12, 2026 at 1:00pm at First Presbyterian Church at 215 Locust St NE Albuquerque, NM 87102.
