Frank Castillo Obituary

Frank Castillo Jr.

On Tuesday February 9, 2021 Frank Castillo Jr. went to be with our Heavenly Father.

He was preceded in death by the love of his life Viola Grace Castillo, his father, Frank Castillo Sr., and his mother, Ophelia Castillo; his brother, Richard; his sister, Esther. He is survived by his son, Frank R. Castillo and wife Darlene; his daughter, Karen Roussel and husband Mike; his grandchildren Andrea Cloak and husband Jack, Matt Castillo and wife Brittany, Lauren Lippert and husband Logan, and Ryan Castillo and wife Danielle; his great-granddaughter, Millie.

Frank was born in Magdalena, New Mexico but spent the majority of his life in Albuquerque. He was a Navy Veteran who proudly served in World War II.

Frank, who everyone knew as "Tata", loved his family. Tata was his family's biggest supporter and would be at every family function from dance lessons to sporting events. He was the number one fan of the La Cueva Boys Basketball program. He loved basketball season and would never miss a game. Tata had the best sense of humor, the biggest heart, and made everyone feel like they were part of the family.

The family would like to thank Kusang Chodon and Violetta Thomas for taking such good care of Tata over the years.

There will be a private family service in celebration of Tata's life.

We are thankful for Tata's long, healthy, and happy life and for the years we were able to spend with him. We will miss him every single day.
