James Boros Obituary

James H Boros

James H. Boros, age 67, of Albuquerque, NM passed away unexpectedly at home October 4, 2024.

Jim was born in Cleveland, OH on August 5, 1957 to William & Lucile Boros (nee Harley). He attended Euclid High School, studied Engineering at Ohio University, then took classes at the University of Albuquerque to pursue his beloved hobby of music.

Jim loved tinkering with electronics, folk dancing, swimming, and hiking. His kindness is known in many ways, from helping his fellow neighbors and friends with computer issues, to taking them to the grocery store when needed. He had a brilliant mind, a gentle soul, and was always quick with a joke or a song reference to a situation.

Jim is survived by his sister Jennifer Rardon Cartulla (Joe), his nieces Karly Pappas (Adam) & Jessica Aquila, 6 grand nieces & nephews, many cousins, and extended step family.

Service and Celebration of Life will be held at Three Fountains Apartments, 2200 Lester NE, Albuquerque, in the Yucca Room on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 3 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to New Mexico Folk Music and Dance Society at FolkMADS.org Donations.

To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Published by Albuquerque Journal from Oct. 24 to Oct. 25, 2024.
