Jared, I wish I could've been blessed enough to know you. I only saw you at choir concerts and in the hallways at Cibola, but you seemed like such a wonderful person, even at a distance. You looked so cool and friendly. I hope you're in a better place, you'll always be in my wishes.

Jared was funny, kind, competitive, bright, and is gone far too soon. I first met Jared through my daughter; they were in the band together at James Monroe and then Cibola. I remember her telling me stories about him, about funny things he said and how talented he was on the trombone. Later on, I had the privilege of teaching Jared his sophomore year. Algebra 2 is a challenging subject, but Jared mastered the material with ease and pushed me to be a better teacher. I am grateful for all he taught me and for being a fierce friend for my daughter. My love and condolences to his family and friends. Until we meet again, Jared.

Jared I know I didn't talk to you much when I left Cibola but I want to let you know that I'm really sad that your gone and that I hope your at peace. I've known you since elementary and you've always been such a smart and nice kid, and you've always had such amazing talent. I wish you the best and your family the best. I'm glad I met you.

Jared, you were such an incredible talent and you had an amazing mind. However, your kindness and gentility were just as spectacular. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the choir and myself. It was such a joy to get to work and perform with you. We will long remember your laugh and joy as we sing in rehearsal. Until we meet again, keep singing.

Hi Jared. I know we never really knew each other, but you really did make an impact on my life. I used to see you around our elementary school, I loved seeing you perform in jazz band in middle school, and now in highschool, still seeing you perform in jazz band, and you being just a row and a few seats away from me in Wind Ensemble. You were such an amazing and talented person. I wish I would have been able to get to know you better. We'll miss you :)

I met Jared in sixth grade at James Monroe. We shared a few classes together, but over the years our true friendship grew in band over our mutual love of music and overall geekiness. We shared so many incredible memories in marching band, Youth Orchestra, and at Hummingbird. Jared is one of the most caring people I ever had the pleasure of knowing. He would buy me lunch if I didn´t have money, offer me rides home so I didn´t have to walk, and always make me feel like I had someone by my side. He was funny, smart, and unbelievably talented. My sincerest condolences go out to his family and those who cared about him. I miss him so much.

The amount of memories Jared and I shared throughout the entirety of high school will never be forgotten. The long days at band, the late night gaming sessions playing Sea of Thieves or Minecraft, randomly going for food after school, these memories will be with me for the remainder of my life. Thank you Jared for making High School a more fun time even though I graduated a year earlier than you. I hope one day we can meet again.

Thank you for letting me be by your side for the past few months. I´ll never forget all the times you put up with me braiding your hair, or hearing you sing along to our music as we drove to ays together. You´ll be in my heart forever, and even if I didn´t know you for a super long time, the impact you had on me is timeless.

You had always been so inspiring to many people, to include me. You were such a smart, talented, funny, and amazing human overall. The times we spent together both inside and outside of school will be cherished forever. Having always made everyone smile when you walked into any room, you were loved by so many. May your legacy and memory live long, you will be missed greatly. Thank you, for being such a kind friend to me...it was truly an honor being a part of your life. As well as sing and play in such great ensembles with you.

I first met you in Jazz Band at James Monroe, and the final memory I will have of us is a Jazz Band performance at that very same middle school. I´m so happy and thankful that we were able to share our love for music for so many years. I will miss you not only as a musician, but a friend who inspired passion to the lives of those he met. Thank you.
