My deep condolences to Jill´s husband, her children and all her family. I´m still in shock and can´t imagine what all of you are going through, the sadness you must feel. I met Jill about ten years ago when I joined Saint Vincent de Paul. She trained me as a home visitor and later on as a SVdP weekend coordinator. Jill was so devoted to SVdP and to the people in need. She was very compassionate and was such a kind and caring person. What always struck me during our meetings and our conversations was her true devotion to the poor, her common sense as she would answer our questions, her intelligence, her spirituality and love for God when she shared some prayers with us and I can´t forget her great sense of humor. She was a true friend and I shared some good conversations and great laughs with her and now I can´t believe that she´s gone. God must truly be pleased with all she did for everyone. As I´m sad over her loss, I want to remember the good memories and our laughs together. May God comfort her loved ones during this difficult time and Rest In Peace, Jill. You leave us a beautiful legacy.
