Jocelyn Sice Obituary

Jocelyn Ava Sice

July 21, 1958-

July 15, 2025

Jocelyn Ava Sice, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend, joined the ancestors on July 15, 2025, just shy of her 67th birthday. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she built a life defined by kindness, love, and deep family connection.

Jocelyn dedicated over 30 years of service to the federal government, where her work ethic and loyalty left a lasting impression on colleagues and her community. But her proudest role was that of mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica Nelson and Willynette Nelson; her grandchildren, Olivia Sice and Renee Castro; and her siblings, Sidney Sice, Fredrick Thompson, Danielle Thompson, and Paula Thompson. She was also a proud aunt to Shannon Thompson, Hendrick Thompson, and Riott Thompson.

Jocelyn's warmth could be felt in every hug, her presence a constant source of comfort to those she loved. She cherished quality time with her family, cheering for her beloved Dallas Cowboys every season, and showing up for those who needed her, no matter the hour.

Her legacy lives on in her family and friends who will continue to carry her kindness forward.
