Linda Taylor Obituary

Linda Taylor

Linda Taylor was born April 21, 1945 in Nashville TN to Leonard F Taylor and Gladys V Hudson.

She departed this earthly life on Monday, March 29, 2021, and has returned to the embrace of her ancestors surrounded by friends and family. She passed quietly at home following an exhausting battle with Pancreatic cancer.

Linda graduated from Highland High school in Albuquerque, NM, and continued her education at the University of New Mexico. She worked for Country Gas in Edgewood, NM, until her retirement in 2010

Linda donated much of her time to animal rescue, Pitbull advocacy, and rescue transportation groups. She was an experienced Balloon pilot, civil war reenactor, and was active in the Masonic community. She never shied away from a new experience.

She enjoyed Ballooning, collecting teddy bears, Renaissance fairs, Highland games, dog shows, fishing, her garden and home time with family and her many rescued animals-

She is survived by her spouse, James, and her children, Krista Branch and Joanna Perry, and her grandchildren, Theresa and Aiden Perry.

In Lieu of memorials or flowers, donations to a local animal rescue or pet adoption group in her name is requested.

The Taylor Family wishes to thank the UNM cancer center, UNM hospitals and all of the doctors and nurses who helped Linda fight this terrible disease.

My sincerest condolences to Linda's family. I volunteered for several years with Linda with the Babes and Bullies and Pet-A-Bulls. Linda always had a smile and was a beautiful person inside and out. Her love and advocacy for dogs in need was admirable.

I am glad Linda was still involved with animals that we all know she loved dearly. Rest in peace.
