Armijo of Albuquerque, NM,

a beloved

wife, mother,

aunt, grandmother, and great-

grandmother, passed away quietly at her home Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the age of 90 to be with her Lord and her Bampa. She was born in Socorro, NM on October 22, 1931, and came to Albuquerque after high school. Lucy is survived by her son Tom Armijo and wife Tina, stepson Theodore Armijo and wife Mary, and stepdaughter Lydia Vogler. She is also survived by several nieces and grandchildren including Ashley Fischer and husband Hayden and David Armijo and the most recent apple of her eye, great-grandson, Easton Fischer. She is preceded in death by the love her life,

husband Raul

"Bampa" Armijo, her father Tomas Torres, mother

Ida Jiron, and

brother Eugene

Torres. She

retired from

Sandia National

Labs and then enjoyed many activities in retirement including bowling, arts and crafts, and an occasional trip to the casino. Lucy will be missed but forever in the thoughts of all who knew her. A remembrance of her life and reception will be held Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the Cross Christian Fellowship at 6721 Edith Blvd NE Ste C, Albuquerque, NM at 1:00pm.
