Deanie was the fourth of six children born to Pearl and Walter Preston Wood. She married Larry Lundy in 1960 and they raised two children: Stan and Sheila. She wore many hats in life. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Professionally she was a secretary, contracts manager, business owner, librarian, author and educator. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Thelma Price and Diana Wood. She is survived by her husband, Larry and their children, Stan and wife Katy Lundy; Sheila and her husband Wayne Cunningham. Immediate family members include her grandchildren, Samantha O'Dell, Shauna and her partner MJ Maez and Wes Hentzel. Plus two greats: Brooke O'Dell and Madelynn Maez. Deanie's siblings remained a vital part of her life and their love through the years is beyond our ability to give words to: Lou and Cecil Doughtery, Judy and Ronnie Moore, Preston and Janey Wood. There are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Each held a special place in her heart.
