Marilyn Bromberg Obituary
On April 3, 2023 at midnight, Marilyn Ruth Bromberg, age 89, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, love, and grace. Marilyn was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of many.
Marilyn dedicated her time generously to community projects while also cherishing her Jewish faith and involvement in her synagogue community. Her passion for helping others and spreading joy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Ann Bromberg, Chyah Weitzman, David Bromberg, Steve Bromberg; son-in-law, Robert Skolnick; grandchildren, Ryan and Francis Bromberg, Rebecca and Seth Berkowitz, Seth and Lauren Bromberg, Samantha and Jed Bilibei, Noah and Ashley Weitzman, Adam and Debra Weitzman, and Sarah Weitzman; as well as great-grandchildren, Aiden Bromberg-Bilibei, Mya Sole Bromberg, Avi Bromberg, Kaia Bilibei, Oliver and Wilfred Bromberg, and Jack Berkowitz. Noting also her loved ones who predeceased her...husband, Sheldon Bromberg; daughter, Susie Bromberg Skolnick; and
grandson, Evan Bromberg. Marilyn is also survived by her dear sisters, Sharon Kahn, Marcia and Howard Frankel, and Harriet Zisman; as well as many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Marilyn was a devoted mother and teacher who had a love for baking, flowers, Spring time, and spending time with her family and friends. She had an infectious laugh and always found joy in every situation, especially when playing with her great-grandchildren. Her memory will live on through all those who knew and loved her. We will all miss Marilyn dearly, but we will carry her joy of life within us forever.
Services will be held Wednesday, April 5, 2023, 10:00 a.m., at Congregation
B'Nai Israel, 4401 Indian School Rd. NE. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. Please visit our online guestbook for Marilyn at
