We lived across the street from Marilyn on Aztec Rd for many years and just saw the house has sold. So sad to hear of her passing. She left an indelible mark on Abq, always zipping around to some humanitarian project or another she joined me and some of my friends at the women´s march in Abq. Her passion for the underserved was so contagious and her love for life, travels and others unparalleled. She was loved and will be missed.

To Marilyn´s family
I just want to add my condolences in your loss . Marilyn was my first friend when I moved to Albuquerque in 1953 . Have so many wonderful memories of our years together at Bandelier and HHS . Several of us have been trying to find her for the last couple of years . Am sorry it didn´t happen in time . With love,

Marilyn was my 5th Grade teacher at McCollum Elementary School in the 1969-1970 school year, when she still about 23 years old herself. I still look at that year as one of the best years I had in APS; I learned a lot and came into my own socially, and Miss Fifield had a lot to do with it.

Miss Fifield was my 5th grade teacher. She was so much fun and always smiling. I appreciate the year I got to spend with her. Sending my best to her family.

In addition to her deep and abiding love for family, and her devotion to the Cathedral of St. John and its ministries, Marilyn also was a supporter of the NM Interfaith Dialogue. Additionally, she acted for social justice in civic realms as well.
Surely, the realms of glory welcome her with joy!

My beautiful sweet friend Marilyn, you will be missed!
I know you are with our Great Savior.
Thank you for the wonderful friendship you shared with me. When I see a Roadrunner I will think of you and remember all the wonderful walks to the park we took.
At Christmas when I hear rocking around the Christmas tree I will think of you and I dancing to it and you singing along.
I will hold close to my heart our many conversations about being Mom´s to sons.
I will forever be thankful that God put our paths together here on this earth.
Until we see each other again my friend. I love you!
