Pamela Lee Maki



Pamela Lee Dechon Maki, 65, went to meet her Lord and Savior October 24, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. Pamela was a fighter right to the end. Her spirit and love will always be remembered. Hearts will always feel the loss of such a devoted friend, sister, and Auntie Pam. Pamela was born December 29,1952 in Aberdeen, MD to her parents, Lieutenant Dorothy and Lieutenant Colonel John Dechon. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Mark William Dechon.

Pamela's family moved often being military. They had the advantage and privilege of living in Spain, Italy, Austria, and Freiburg, where she continued her education. Upon her return to the USA she made her way to El Paso, Texas then to Northwest Arkansas. She will forever be remembered by her brother, John Clay Dechon; sister, Hanni Claire Dechon; long time best friends Kelly and Charles "Butch" Hatfield; niece, nephews, many friends, clients, and coworkers.
