Patricia Gonzales Obituary
Patty Gonzales, 73, passed away peacefully at home on August 6th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jamie and brothers Jack and Robert.
Patty is survived by her husband Benny, daughters Jessica and Jackie, grandchildren: Jade, Savahna, Carlos and Alex, sister Judy and brother-in-law Skip.
Patty was known for her kind heart and the fierceness she loved with, so being Grandma Bear fit her perfectly. Who knew while shopping at the Piggly Wiggly she would meet the love of her life. Patty and Benny were married for 54 years. They shared a fun and loving life together, they both enjoyed spending time together outside in the backyard. Patty loved to plant a garden, grow plants and flowers, sit outside on the warm summer evenings drinking a Pepsi.
In her younger years, Patty was an athlete then continued her enjoyment of sports by watching her husband, kids and grandkids play. Patty loved being around family and friends, having barbecues, going to the casino and going out to eat. Patty touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed.
A Rosary will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd, Rio Rancho, NM 87124, at 10:00 am on Monday, August 19, 2024 with a Mass following at 10:30 am.
