Patrick Labor

Patrick Allen Labor, age 66, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at his home in Albuquerque after a recent diagnosis of two glioblastoma brain tumors. Pat was a devoted husband, loving father, and member of his church community.

Pat was born 1959 in Albuquerque to Carl and Dorothy Labor. He was the youngest of five children Nancy, Polly, Jim, and Mike. Pat attended Bel Air Elementary and McKinley Middle, graduating from Del Norte High School in 1977. He completed his electrician apprenticeship with the IBEW. He met his wife Lynn after high school, whose childhood home was only a few blocks from his. They were married in July of 1982. They have two children, Stacy and Wesley. His family grew to include 5 grandchildren who he delighted in. Pat was a dedicated member of the community at Grace Church, then joining Hope Church in 2018.

Pat was a steadfast and hard working man his whole life. An electrician by trade, he ended his career with the on-site construction team at Sandia National Labs. Lynn and Pat were married for 44 years, ever the team helping anywhere and everywhere that they could. He was a supportive dad who came to every school event, coached sports, and stayed up late helping with projects. Pat could be found mopping floors, cooking burgers, moving chairs, and being a handyman wherever he went. He enjoyed bike riding, hiking, and photographing nature. He will be remembered for his unassuming and steadfast nature. Pat was the backbone for his wife and family.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday March 21st, 2026, 10 AM at Hope Church, 4710 Juan Tabo NE.
