Steven P. “Sparky” Labor, 64, of Norwich, passed away at Binghamton General Hospital on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
Born on August 30, 1960, in Norwich, Steven was a son of the late William and Jessie (Whaley) Labor. He grew up in North Norwich and graduated from Sherburne-Earlville in 1978 before attending SUNY Cortland. Sparky worked for over forty years for Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals retiring with Norwich Pharmaceuticals/Alvogen. He enjoyed golfing in his leisure time and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Steven is survived by his partner of twenty-five years, Kristi Upton, of Norwich; son, Vaughn (Corrine) Labor, of Binghamton; grandsons, Bjorn and Tycho; siblings, Scott Labor, Kevin (Kelly) Labor, and Laurie (John) Hoefler; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Steven will be held privately in the North Norwich Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted with the Wilson Funeral Home.
