Paul Martinez Obituary
Paul Joseph Martinez, age 50, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday April 21, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph B.A. Martinez. Paul is survived by his daughter Emma Martinez; mother Trini Martinez; sisters: Annette Leyba and husband Alan Leyba, Robin Martinez, Teresa Biddinger; nephews: Michael, Steven, Nathan; and niece Taylor. Paul graduated from Manzano HS in 1988, and from the University of New Mexico in 1993, with a Bachelors in Business and Communications. While at UNM, he was an active member of Sigma Chi fraternity. He was a realtor in NM and CA, and ran his own agency. Paul "Sumo," loved his daughter Emma, his dog Joey, the beach, Conchas lake, music, his forever friends, food and family â€" He just loved life and lived it to the fullest. Paul's Life Celebration will begin with a Mass on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 9:00am at Shrine of the Little Flower St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church. Paul you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
I'll always remember your spirit, huge heart and laugh. As a child you were always a silly boy, teasing your sisters and getting on their last good nerve. You would jump the wall and come over to our house. You and Edward would think that was funny. Boys will be boys. You are an angel and we will never forget you.
