Rudy Naranjo Obituary
Rudy Naranjo, 55, life-long Albuquerque resident, passed away with his family by his side on March 31, 2015. He is survived by his children, Ruben Baca, David Naranjo and wife, Melissa, and Isaiah Naranjo; mother, Mary Lou Naranjo and husband, Raul Ramirez; siblings, Loretta Naranjo Lopez and husband, Jesse, Sandra Naranjo, Arthur Naranjo, Larry Naranjo, Diane Naranjo and Kent Naranjo; grandchildren, Angelina, Lorisa, London and Haley Baca; one grandson, Zayden, on the way; and many extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur "Louie" Naranjo. Rudy will always be remembered by his family as their protector. He was a strong and honest man who loved his family dearly. Rudy enjoyed spending time with them, watching sports, being outdoors and listening to Spanish music on KANW. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at San Ignacio Church, 1300 Walter Street NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. Rudy will be laid to rest at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, 87102. Pallbearers will be Lucio Grajeda, Agustin Naranjo, Elijah Naranjo, Michael Martinez, Robert Baca, Alex Serna and Ricky Espinosa. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carl Garcia and Angel Vasquez. I just learned about Rudy's passing from my sister and I am so sorry. I have fond memories of Rudy and all of us from back in the day. My prayers are with all of you at this time, I wish you peace.
