Ruth Ballou





Ruth Ballou, age 88, passed away, Sunday December 6, 2020. She was born in Texarkana Arkansas, to the parents of Woodrow & Willie Mae Rhodes.



She attended high school at Charlton Pallard High School. She married Jesse Ballou in Beaumont Texas, in 1952. They remained faithful and loving until her death. To there union they had two children, Hilda and Greg. She leaves to cherish her relatives and leaves many memories.



She was a long time member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Senior Usher president for many of years. Whenever you went to Mt. Olive, you would always see Ruth Ballou in her post at the door.



She was very active in many other church and civic activities and clubs.

She was a nice and loving and giving person. She helped raised my daughter Carla Ballou of Las Vegas, Nevada Granddaughters Latoria Dixon of Pendleton, Oregon and Sheridan Crawford of San Diego, California. Thank you for all the LOVE YOU GAVE TO US!
