Santos Salazar Obituary
Mr. Santos H. Salazar died unexpectedly in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 6th, 2022, at the age of 66 years old.
Santos is survived by his former wife Agnes Direen of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, daughter Sara Salazar of Rio Rancho, NM, son Moses Salazar of Rio Rancho, NM, daughter Emily Salazar of Denver, Colorado, granddaughters, Solina Moreno, Anissa Moreno, Autumn Martinez, Megan Salazar, Angel Salazar, Ofelia Salazar, grandsons, Santos Salazar, Santiago Salazar, Xavior Salazar, Jerome Salazar, Xander Salazar, Isaac Salazar, Oliver Salazar, great grandchildren, Analisa Margaret Archuleta, Mateo Andy Archuleta, Myla Rose Marie Door. Santos is preceded in death by his mother Juanita Hernandez, father Vincent Salazar, son Isaac Salazar, son Andy Salazar, sister Celia Salazar and brother Vincent Elvis Salazar.
Santos was born on Thursday, May 3rd, 1956, in Orange, California, to Juanita Hernandez and Vincent Salazar. Originally from the Los Angeles area, but found final contentment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Santos was raised Christian and remained so all his life. Santos was a kind, loving, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and a great friend to many. He was a hardworking professional welder for over 40 years prior to retiring. Post retirement Santos was full of life, funny, witty, intelligent and fun to hang out with. Santos was always excited and enjoyed so much spending time with his family and friends, loved to sing and dance, shared his passion for music (especially oldies and old school music) with everyone and took great pleasure fixing up and cruising classic cars.
Santos was very loved and will be greatly missed. Services will take place at Daniels Family Funeral Services - Sara Chapel, 4310 Sara Rd. SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124. Viewing will begin at 9:00AM, Memorial Service to follow at 10:00AM. Burial will take place directly after the service, beginning at 11:30AM. Reception will take place at Elks Lodge Rio Rancho, 1530 Barbara Loop SE, Rio Rancho, NM, 87124, from 12:00PM-2:00PM
