Scott Dwight Habermehl

We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our beloved family member, Scott Dwight Habermehl, 63. He died on the morning of May 29th, 2024 after being struck by a car on his daily bicycle commute. He loved his family, his friends, and his many dogs, cats, and horses. He was a tremendous fan of the outdoors and enjoyed hiking, biking, Telemark and Nordic skiing, and sports of all kinds. He was a committed scientist, scholar, and mentor, dedicating almost 30 years to his work and his colleagues at Sandia National Laboratories.
