Sean Davidson Spriggs



Sean Davidson Spriggs, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died on Saturday, January 4, 2020 after a brief illness. He is survived by a daughter, Natasha Bracken, her sons Thomas and Lucas of Bellingham PA,; his brothers, C. Brian and his wife, Marla of Phoenix AZ and Kevan; and his sisters, Tara Avila of Centennial Co and Brenna and husband, Don Green, of Parker CO and two grandsons, six nieces and nephews, 10 grandnephews and nieces and one great grandnephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edison and Helen Dorothy, and a nephew, Benjamin Scott. Sean was born January 30, 1946 in Missoula, Montana. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1948, following the father's release from the Air Force. He attended Sandia High School and after graduation, he attended the University of New Mexico until he was drafted to serve in the Army. Upon release from the Army, he completed his schooling at the University of New Mexico and went to work at Amherst College as Director of Theater Arts. He returned to New Mexico in 1984 where he worked at Allsup's Stores.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 am, October 2, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE
