Stella Magee Obituary
Stella Gonzales
Magee was born in Santa Fe, NM on May 30th, 1934 and passed away on Friday, April 1st, 2022 at the age of 87. She was the eldest of nine children to the late Tom and Otila Gonzales. In addition to her
parents, sister
Cecilia "Teeter", and brother Fernando "Fernie" of Santa Fe, Stella's husband Cone, awaited her arrival. Stella attended school in Santa Fe and graduated from Loretto Academy. She served the Catholic church faithfully over the years.
Stella and Cone shared over 50 years together and two children, Elizabeth and Ansel. Stella is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth and her husband Nick Ramos of
Albuquerque; son, Ansel and his wife Natasha Magee of
El Cerrito,
California;
grandsons, Nick
"Skooch" and
Gabriel "Gabe"
Ramos; sweet
granddaughter, Zoe Magee; her siblings, Maryann
Esquibel, Daniel Gonzales, Marcella Elmer, Tommy Gonzales, Bernadette
Gonzales, and Vincent Gonzales; and many other family members and friends.
A Funeral Mass for Stella and Cone will be held on Wednesday, May 18th at 10 o'clock in the morning at Risen Savior Catholic
Community. Please join us.
