Stewart Ingham Obituary
Peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023. He was surrounded by the love of his family and dear friends. His life was well spent - from his early days as a Wyoming ranch hand and his tenure with the US
Navy, he learned the value of a hard days work. He met his wife of 70 years while in the Navy and then got his electrical engineering degree from the University of Wyoming. He was proud of his 35+ years as a test engineer at Sandia National Labs. He then retired to the comfortable life of a country gentleman with his wife, his grandkids, his horses, chickens and dogs.
Stewart has now joined his wife Betty Jean Ingham, parents Percy and Ernestine Ingham, sister Barbara Newman, son Damon Ingham, and grandson Conrad Ingham. His passing is mourned by his family - son Stewart Alan Ingham and wife Mary; daughter-in-law Lori Bohm-Porterfield and husband Buddy; daughter Lilly Hill and husband Steve; daughter Heather Allard; sister-in-law

He was also loved by so many special family friends, neighbors, fellow Church of Our Lord members, and Father Trott, caregivers, and extended family. He will be deeply missed by all.Memorial service will be on Sept 2, 2023 at 2pm at St. Marks Episcopal Church. Â Memorial donations can be sent to Roadrunner Food Bank or The Fisher House (supporting families at VA hospitals).

Stewart was a great man, a stalwart warrior of faith in a world that can be on the fence. He and his wife Betty were an inspiration, a true romantic couple. Stewart was highly intelligent, and a true believer in helping others to learn. He could be opinionated and cantankerous, at the same time he was truly kind, often funny and always thoughtful. Stewart was one of a kind, and will be greatly missed.

I feel so lucky to have known this good man, if only for a short time. Stewart always made me feel that he was delighted to see me. We need more of that in the world.
