Theresa Madrid Obituary
Theresa Madrid, 61, went to be with her Savior Thursday, December 1, 2016.
Ms. Madrid was preceded in death by her grandparents, Catarino and Romelia Vigil and Manuel and Eufelia Madrid.
She is survived by her parents, Jose S. and Lorie Madrid; siblings, Kathy Montoya (Orlando), Arlene Padilla and Joe Madrid (Gina.) Theresa was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who spread love and peace to all those around her. She was a loyal church member at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Theresa retired from the NM Department of Labor.
Theresa's Life Celebration will begin with a Rosary on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 6:30 pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (1818 Coal Pl. SE). A Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at 10:00 am. also at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Please visit Theresa's online guestbook at

Joe, Lorie and Madrid family, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Theresa was my childhood friend through school. I have many fond memories of our time together and slumber parties at your house. May God give you comfort and healing. I know she was strong in her faith and as we believe, she is with our Lord now and in no pain. I wish I could be there with you tonight and tomorrow. I will be in prayer and spirit.
