Tom Dana Obituary
Tom was born in Topeka, Kansas March 27th, 1936 and departed this life on May 11th, 2018. He graduated from CCHS in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas in 1954 and from Kansas State Univ. in May of 1959, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. He was a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. His Work history included Convair Astronautics in California, ACF industries and EG&G Inc. in Albuquerque, NM, Retiring in 1997. He is survived by his wife Donna of almost 60 years and his constant companion Ebony; His sons Mitch and friend Peggy, Robert and wife Heidi; his daughter Michele and Husband Scott Groth, all of Albuquerque; his grand-children Ryan and wife Amanda, Jacob and fiance Shelby, Dylan and fiance Ashly, McKay, Jason, Casey and Husband Alex, and Sydney; his great-grand-children Uryah and Ariya; as well as extended family and many friends. He was a "Fanatic" fan of fishing, hunting and KSU sports (ALL sports, both men's and women's). He traveled to as many scheduled conference and bowl games as he could per year. The highlight of his summer was his annual two-week fishing trip with his grand-kids. Tom requested no services. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of choice or to the Parkinson's research foundation. He will be greatly missed!
