I would offer my sincere sympathy for your loss. My grandfather changed his name from Lackey to Lackaye. He was Italian. I wonder if we are related. I just saw the article in the Journal this week.

Scott and Liz,
Gabe and I took time this week to reminisce about Tyler. We are schocked and sad that the end of his life was so tragic and senseless. But remembering the spunk and independence of Tyler brought smiles and memories of soccer, exploring the fields for implements of exploration, (or were they tools of banter between brothers) both Scott and Tyler demonstrated curiousity and invention ...full of dreams. Good memories of 2 brothers with a patient and kind mom.
Sending love and support as the you go thru the changes that loss has thrust upon you.

Tyler was such a sweet young man. He brought me so many smiles in the short time I knew him.
May you be comforted. I cannot know your grief. But please know that Tyler touched many lives and will be remembered with love. I am so sorry for your loss.

Our hearts were broken when we heard of your great loss. Your family will be kept in daily prayers for healing. It was so heartwarming to have ready about your son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and America's True Soldier. He did pack a full life into 24 short years. Taken away in such a brutal matter after all he gave to his family and Country. May you find peace in knowing you brought up such a bright loving child and he turned into such an incredible loving human being. We do not know your family but send our truest condolences.
