Walter Judge Obituary
Walter A. Judge, age 89, finished the race on Thursday, July 14, 2016.
Walter was an honest, hardworking, devoted husband and father. He served his country with the US Army in Europe during WWII. When he returned home he married the love of his life, Lois Huhs. Walter was an auto mechanic and had an extensive history and involvement in Sprint Car racing.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lois; his children, Sue (Terry) Gaiser, Walter Byno Judge (Debbie) and Kittie Schimming; grandchildren, Brian (Alyssa) Gaiser and Emily Gaiser, Blake Judge, Michael Schimming, Billy Schimming and Laura Wardwell; he especially enjoyed his great-grandson, Walter Dane Judge and his new great-granddaughter, Flora Gaiser.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Eva May; his beloved grandmother, Rosetta Barnes; and three brothers, Elmer, Homer and Lester.
Visitation will be Monday, July 18, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. Service will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016, 10:00 a.m., at Asbury United Methodist Church, 10000 Candelaria NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. with military honors.

Walter, what can I say? He believed in me and taught me the right way to work and do the best no matter what was ahead of you. I was blessed to have the chance to learn and know Walter and all of his family.
