I'm going to miss you Uncle Mickey, you always treated me as part of the family. Aunt MaryJo and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Uncle Mickey was one of the nicest man I have ever met in my life and that is why I know he is seated on the right hand of our father.

I was Pastor of Saint Edwin Parish in Albuquerque from June 2001 thru January 2016. Bill attended mass daily at Saint Edwin, very rarely missing. Bill was a deeply Spiritual man, very humble and full of the Lord's Joy and Love for his family, friends and even strangers. I never encountered Bill without being blessed by his smile and respect. Bill was proud of his roots in Tucumcari, New Mexico and we often talked about High School game scores with the Santa Rosa Lions where my parents were from. All of Bill's fellow Airmen who served with him in Viet Nam during the Tet Offensive spoke of Bill's strong sense of Obligation to Duty, his very welcomed sense of humor and kindness, and his unbelievable metabolism that won him the nickname: Horse. They said that Bill could eat a lot and never gain weight. Bill had many talents and gifts, and was always ready to help the parish with any mechanical electrical problems. I absolutely have no doubt that Bill is making Heaven more Brilliant with Light and Joy, I worry now if the Tucumcari Rattlers High School Team will ever again loose to the Santa Rosa Lions!
