Charles James Langlinais

Funeral Services will be conducted for Charles James Langlinais, 63, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Delhomme Funeral Home - Broussard with Deacon Marty Cannon officiating. Visitation will begin on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 9:00 AM until service time. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 12:00 PM. A native and resident of Lafayette, Louisiana, Charles James Langlinais passed away on April 6, 2018 at 6:10 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Charles was a loving husband, son, father and grandfather. He was a talented artist, writer and musician. He was a master at making his loved ones and anyone around him laugh and see the beauty in everything. Charles was one in a million. He is survived by Paulette Melancon Langlinais, his beloved wife; C.J. Langlinais, his son, married to Paulette Andrus Langlinais; his grandchildren, Trevor Josef and Austin Riley Langlinais; sister, Debra Langlinais Mouton and her husband, Ronald Mouton. He is preceded in death by his father, John (Rocky) Langlinais; his mother, Irene Langlinais Mouton and step father, Presley (Red) Mouton.
