Erline Menard

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 24, 2017, at 1:00 PM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Erline Romero Menard, 78, who passed away on Monday afternoon, November 20, 2017, at Amelia Manor Nursing Home in Lafayette. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughters, Velma Sherrets and her husband Danny, Loretta Bajat and her husband Drake, and Sandra Latiolais and her husband Britt; one son, David Menard; one brother, Harold Romero and his wife Ameline; six grandchildren, Jeremy Hopkins, Scott Sherrets, Dustin Sherrets, Amanda Bajat Stuart, Blaire Bajat Sevigny and Brock Latiolais; and six great-grandchildren, Alayna Hopkins, Mattie Jude Sevigny, Leland Hopkins, Stafford Stuart III, Paxton Sherrets and Wilder Stuart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kernel Menard; her parents, Edwin and Helena Romero; and one brother, Edwin Romero Jr. A Rosary will be recited on Friday at 11:00 AM in the funeral home. The family requests that visitation be observed on Friday from 9:00 AM until time of service. The family would like to give special thanks to Amelia Manor Nursing Home and St. Joseph Hospice for their kindness, compassion, and gentle care given to Mrs. Menard and her family during their time of need.
